XELARA was born from a vision far ahead of its time.
In 1938, in Poland, a woman named Xela believed beauty should never come at the cost of kindness. Long before cruelty-free and vegan beauty had names, she created cosmetics rooted in nature’s palette—guided by compassion, purity, and respect for life. To her, beauty was not something to be taken, but something to be honored.
Inspired by the colours of the natural world, Xela crafted products that celebrated women rather than concealed them. Her philosophy crossed generations and continents, carried lovingly to the United States by her family, preserved as both tradition and promise.
Decades later, her grandchildren—a brother and sister—revived her legacy. By blending Xela, their grandmother’s name, with Lara, their mother’s, they created XELARA—a tribute to lineage, resilience, and timeless beauty.
